This a utility application to control the brightness and volume of an external monitor directly from your keyboard.
Control your desktop monitor brightness and volume just like on a MacBook!

Monitors compatibility
Your monitor needs to support DDC/CI for this app to work. If you don’t see the brightness system UI displayed on your monitor when pressing the F1 / F2 keys or whatever you ‘ve changed in keyboard short cut, this means that your monitor is not supported.
If your monitor supports reading the current brightness value from DDC/CI, the app increments/decrements the brightness starting from the monitor current brightness value. This allows you to set the brightness using the monitor’s OSD and to adjust it later with the app

Multiple monitors support
If you have multiple external monitors connected to your Mac, the brightness adjustment is done on the monitor with the currently active window, and the brightness system UI is displayed on the adjusted monitor.
Requirements
macOS version: 10.12.4 or later

Can you have the app display the numeric brightness setting by reading that value from the monitor?
Just used it and it works great! However, it disables keys for my macbook pro. Is there a way to turn keys overridden off completely for both volume and brightness?
Literally never post on these things, but this is exactly what I was looking for, works as expected
Works fine with a single external monitor, but when I connected two monitors to my new Mac Mini with Catalina OS, it controls only the second one. I tried every combination on the control panel but no solution. If anyone knows what I am doing wrong, please advise me, so I can benefit from this good software. Thanks…
