Bench score comparison for 8086K vs 8700K in Customac system
Do you know there is the 40th-anniversary version of Intel 8086 series?
This CPU is an exactly the same structure of i7-8700K but the better and the stable.
Today I am going to compare both CPUs on the same system in macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Final release!
I used Cinebench and Geekbench for my delidded i7-8700K and a brand new i7-8086K.
For the fair result, I set both Overclocking for both CPUs to 5.0ghz.
High Sierra 10.13.4 (17E199) iMacPro1,1 updated in Customac + Benchmark scores of i7-8700k overclocking to 5.1GHz
The macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 was finally released yesterday. The update went smoothly via App store.
The macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 update improves the stability, performance, and security of your Mac, and is recommended for all users.
Plus, I recently tried the i7-8700k coffee lake CPU delidding. The current CPU is overclocked to 5.1GHz. My Hackintosh is very stable and is now well utilized in the latest High Sierra version. I simply attached the benchmark score below. Sooner or later i7-8700k delidding video will be prepared and I will write a guide and review of it as well.

BruceX Test 5K results in i7-8700k + Sapphire Vega 64 graphic – macOS High Sierra 10.13.3
This post shows the results of the BruceX test 5k of the Hackintosh on i7-8700k and Vega 64 graphics cards in High Sierra. This video shows the results of testing with the H.264 codec and the Apple ProRess 422 codec in Final Cut Pro.
Both tests were tested with High Sierra version 10.13.3.
Update 10.13.3 High Sierra in i7-8700K + Vega 64
Today Apple released the 10.13.3 update for High Sierra. The update went on without any problems. In addition, OpenCL scores have risen sharply. There were no problems found so far. If you were using a 10.13.2 build, you can update it like a real Mac.
